DENISE DUCRAY

Born and educated in Geneva, Switzerland, Denise Ducray has lived and worked in New York since 1982. Ever involved in interior design as well as style concepts, her journey encompasses a diversity of cultures, trades, and geographies.

First acquainted with the American way of life through the prestigious houses of Christie's and Cartier for a couple of years, Denise Ducray then took a major step, starting a long lasting association with a multi-million private real estate development concern. Over the course of her ten-year collaboration she conceived, designed, and supervised all interior construction for residential, commercial and luxury hotel projects in New York, Acapulco and Miami - including Fisher Island.

Pursuing her conceptual venture in various design capacities, she opened Denise Ducray Design, Inc. in January 1996, in New York. Understanding her clients is her objective in order to custom-fit a space that fulfills their needs, and echoes their nature.

Based on her values and a philosophy of lasting quality, Denise Ducray’s concepts illustrate a keen knowledge of furniture, luxurious materials and textures, rich colors and light - producing an elegant canvas of original classicism.
